
BENEE announces LYCHEE EP with new single "Beach Boy"
BENEE is back with details of her upcoming EP LYCHEE, and has unveiled new song "Beach Boy" to accompany the news.
"Beach Boy" is BENEE's first new outing of 2022, and features production from Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck). It'll feature on her new EP LYCHEE alongside last year's "Doesn’t Matter".
BENEE says of the single, ""Beach Boy" is pure fantasy, set in LA. It’s about being happy alone, but still wanting some love; wanting the thrill without the pain. It was the first time I’d worked with Greg Kurstin, and it was so sick...we got on super well, and I love this track...I think it is perfect for cruising down the freeway with the top down :)"
LYCHEE will follow BENEE's 2020 debut album hey u x, and will include songs written in LA alongside Greg Kurstin, Kenny Beats and Rostam.
