Ben Howard shares three new tracks from Noonday Dream sessions
Ben Howard has followed up his Noonday Dream album with three tracks recorded during the project, "Another Friday Night", "Hot Heavy Summer" and "Sister".
Noonday Dream only arrived in June, and already Ben Howard has shared three tracks that were created during sessions for his most recent record.
Today the musician has revealed "Another Friday Night", "Hot Heavy Summer" and "Sister".
Speaking about the three tracks, he says, "The recording sessions for Noonday Dream were so varied and over quite a period of time. There were little gems that we didn't know what to do with but it felt right to put these three together, both separate and a part of the album so to speak."
"Hot Heavy Summer" was premiered as Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World last night on BBCR1, and features a collaboration with the electro-pop duo Sylvan Esso.
Ben Howard explains, "Amelia (Sylvan Esso) is just incredible, fortune prevailed, and we managed to get in the studio. I had it in the back of my mind as soon as we initially recorded "Hot Heavy Summer" that the track just felt right for her."
Ben Howard is currently on tour in the US, and will return to Europe and the UK in December to continue his tour of Noonday Dream. He plays London's O2 Brixton Academy for three nights from 16-19 January 2019. Find out more.
