Belly are back with their first new song in over 20 years
Belly recently launched a PledgeMusic campaign for their first album since 1995's King, and now we've got the first song from the sessions as a thanks to those who've already pledged.
The song's not an original number - it's a cover of "Hushabye Mountain" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Listen now on PledgeMusic.
"Here's our long-promised cover of 'Hushabye Mountain'," say Belly. "We had fun putting it together while working on the tunes for the new record and we hope you enjoy it."
Belly's new LP is due to be released April 2018 and follows last year's Star reissue, and as well as the pair of tunes that the Boston outfit have been performing on their reunion dates lately, there will be nine other tracks. The new material has been recorded at Stable Sound in Rhode Island with Paul Q. Kolderie.
You can pre-order the album now from PledgeMusic, with a variety of merch bundles and one-of-a-kind goodies available. Belly will also be donating a "portion of all profits" to the hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
