Belle And Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch recently wrote and directed a musical film based on his band’s 2009 album God Help The Girl. Now, after a series of festival screenings, the movie will get a theatrical release.
The film will be released on 16 August in the UK and 5 September in North America, with its soundtrack coming on 18 August / 2 September. The movie itself stars Emily Browning, Olly Alexander and Hannah Murray (aka Cassie from Skins).
