Belle and Sebastian to score forthcoming movie Days Of The Bagnold Summer
Days Of The Bagnold Summer is Simon Bird's (The Inbetweeners) directorial debut, and will feature a soundtrack scored by Belle and Sebastian.
The feature film is an adaptation of Joff Winterhart’s graphic novel of the same name published by Jonathan Cape.
Days Of The Bagnold Summer is set to feature Monica Dolan (Eye in the Sky, The Falling, Pride), Earl Cave (The End of the F***ing World), Rob Brydon (The Trip, A Cock and Bull Story), Alice Lowe (Prevenge, Adult Life Skills, Sightseers), Tamsin Greig (Second Best Marigold Hotel, Tamara Drewe) and Elliot Speller-Gillot (Uncle).
The story follows a heavy metal-loving teenager when his holiday plans fall through at the last minute. The teenager then has to spend the summer with the person who annoys him most, his mum.
