Beck, Cat Power & more added to Doug Aitken's 'Station to Station' train tour
American multimedia artist, Doug Aitken has launched what he’s calling a ‘Station to Station’ tour, where he and a list of other musicians, artists and other creative types travel 10 stops from New York to San Francisco, curating a different “happening” on each stop.
Among the musical acts set to appear at dates on the stint are Beck, Boredoms, Cat Power, Cold Cave, the Congos, the Handsome Family, Jim Jarmusch’s band SQÜRL, Lucky Dragons, Giorgio Moroder, Sun Araw and THEESatisfaction.
They will join those already announced, like Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dan Deacon, Eleanor Friedberger, Nite Jewel, No Age, Savages, Twin Shadow and Connan Mockasin.
