Bear's Den re-release "Agape" and share an update from the studio
Bear's Den have re-released massive single "Agape", and revealed that they are currently hard at work in the studio, grinding away at their second record.
Their debut LP, Islands, arrived in October 2014, and now the London three-piece are a fair way through the follow up with long-term producer Ian Grimble.
Speaking about the progress in the studio, Grimble says:
“It’s only been 14 months since we finished recording Islands but it feels like a lifetime ago, and so much has happened to this band since that day, so it’s exciting now to be back in the studio working on album two. The band are just off tour, so they're tight and ready to record, and the new songs are really taking shape. We have decided that for this record our destination would be Wales and Rockfield Studios - home of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' - so be prepared for plenty of harmonies. This isolated, residential location should give us all the focus we need, wrapped up in a classic analogue facility, with all the tools we need to make a great record. Four weeks in and it's sounding good already."
"Agape" is re-released today on Communion.
