Baths, aka Will Wiesenfeld, has shared new single "Extrasolar" as he prepares to release new LP Romaplasm later this month.
The track follows "Yeoman" and "Out" and features lots of trippy rhythms and off-kilter synth noises. It's pleasantly wonky, with Wiesenfeld's peppy and emotive vocals keeping everything together.
Despite this being his first Baths album since 2013, Wiesenfeld has hardly been silent - in 2014 he dropped EP Ocean Death, and earlier this year he did the theme for Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator. Back in March Wiesenfeld also released Abysma, his debut record as Geotic.
Tracklist:
- Yeoman
- Extrasolar
- Abscond
- Human Bog
- Adam Copies
- Lev
- I Form
- Out
- Superstructure
- Wilt
- Coitus
- Broadback
Romaplasm is out 17 November via Anticon.
