Bat For Lashes teases a new album (probably) with cryptic hangman puzzle
Bat For Lashes has been dropping hangman-style clues on social media, presumably hinting at the title of her next project.
Given the label logos in the top left corner (Echo/Parlophone), it seems like Bat For Lashes - aka Natasha Khan - is gearing up to announce a new record.
We've lot the letter 'i' and the letter 'e' so far, but, and we're completely speculating here, given the slightly longer length of the last letter's designated space, we're gonna take a punt and say there's an 'm' or a 'w' in there too. If the former, then this handy crossword helper gives us four possible titles - Leccinum (a fungus), Nephilim (giants), Nethinum (temple assistants in ancient Jerusalem), or Pessimum (an organisms' least preferable environment for survival).
Khan released her most recent record The Haunted Man in 2012. She worked with The Durutti Column's John Metcalfe on his latest solo record earlier this year.
