Bat For Lashes' Natasha Khan and Beck collaborate on "Under The Indigo Moon" in short film of same name for YMC
Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes, has shared a new short film titled “Under the Indigo Moon,” which features an understated track of same name from herself and Beck.
This isn’t the pair’s first collaboration, as they’d previously shared a song called “Let’s Get Lost,” which appeared on the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack. In an interview with Nowness, Khan stated “We started working together about three years ago; I stayed with him for three weeks, and we jammed out and generated a lot of material.” Here’s hoping that more of said material sees the light of day sooner than later.
The video, directed by Khan and shot in 16mm, features clothing from her new partnership with YMC. The grainy, sepia-toned visuals feature Khan preparing for (and subsequently embarking on) a road trip with former Devendra Banhart-drummer Gregory Rogove.
