The renowned Ivor Novello Awards have announced their full nominations list for 2013′s outing.

The ceremony, which heralds songwriting talent and “excellence in music writing”, have listed Bat For Lashes, Alt-J, Ben Howard, Emeli Sande and Jake Bugg among this year’s nominees across a number of categories.

The Maccabees also get a look-in, up for ‘Best Contemporary Song’, while Lianne La Havas is nominated for the coverted ‘Album Award’ – won last year by PJ Harvey.

The full list of nominations is as below. The 58th Awards ceremony takes place on 16 May.
