Bartees Strange shares new track "Weights"
Bartees Strange has returned with his electrifying new single "Weights".
It's been a busy year for Bartees Strange. Although "Weights" is his first new material since last year's debut album Live Forever, he's been busy covering and reworking a vairety of songs.
Bartees Strange says of the new Will Yip-produced song, "This is about the ones that got away. Going back and forth in my head about relationships that could have happened, missing that it didn’t, and finally realizing I gotta let the weight of it all go."
Prior to releasing "Weights" the musician covered Richard Swift's "Lady Luck" for Secretly Canadian's 25th anniversary Singles series, remixed Hannah Georgas' "Dreams", and remixed Phoebe Bridgers' "Kyoto".
