Barack Obama's summer playlist features Lizzo, Anderson .Paak, Koffee, and more
Barack Obama has revealed his 2019 summer playlist made with the help of Michelle Obama, featuring songs by Lizzo, Anderson .Paak, Koffee, and many others.
Following Obamas end of year lists, the former US President and First Lady have shared their top summer bangers.
The 44-track list includes older favourites from Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Frank Sinatra, and Van Morrisson, but there's some huge recent bangers that have made the summer playlist.
Lizzo's "Juice" is one of the pair's favourite summer hits, alongside Lil Nas X's huge hit single "Old Town Road". Koffee has also made the cut with "Toast", alongside Sharon Van Etten with "Seventeen", and SZA's "Go Gina".
The Obamas have also listed tracks from The Black Keys, 2 Chainz, Mac Miller, Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest, GoldLink, Maggie Rogers, and more. Check out the full list below.
With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy. pic.twitter.com/BS5ri1lvxz
