Barack Obama has shared his favourite songs of 2020 list, after the likes of Big Thief, Rosalía, Sharon Van Etten, Kurt Vile, Poppy Ajudha and more made his end of 2019 music list.
While his list features a variety of new artists, Obama's favourite tracks of 2020 also boasts songs by J. Cole, Koffee, Bruce Springsteen, Travis Scott and Beyoncé, who featured on last year's list.
This year Obama enjoyed J Hus and Koffee's "Repeat", Faye Webster's "Better Distractions", Phoebe Bridgers' "Kyoto" (Best Fit's favourite song of 2020) Dua Lipa's "Levitating" featuring DaBaby, Jeff Tweedy's "Love Is The King", Waxahatchee's "Can't Do Much", Jessie Ware's "Remember Where You Are", Little Simz's "One Life, Might Live", "Blue World" by Mac Miller, and more.
He wrote alongside his list, "Here are some of my favorite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to."
