LA-based singer, Banks has come third in this year’s BBC Sound poll.
The musician follows George Ezra who finished fifth and Sampha who placed fourth, with the rest of the top 5 announced later this week.
The list features fifteen of the most hyped and hotly-tipped acts at the moment chosen by a judging panel of music insiders and tastemakers.
