R&B wonder Azekel is liberated on introspective tune "Pyramids & Starships"
Azekel has unveiled another piece of upcoming debut LP Our Father - the sublime, heartfelt "Pyramids & Starships".
"'Pyramids & Starships' is inspired by a mixture of my personal experience with depression, doubt, and repressed memories," says Azekel. "Talking about this was something of a taboo when I was growing up, and still has always been something difficult to speak about, but it’s easier to communicate through music - in fact it’s liberating.”
"Pyramids & Starships" is the second part of Chapter 2 of Our Father, linking up with recent offering "Hollow" to explore the topic of mental health. The first chapter centred on family and featured songs such as "Don't Wake The Babies" and "Can We Have Fun (In This House Tonight)"; the third (and as-yet-unheard) chapter will look at youth.
