Azealia Banks scraps Disclosure collaboration, accuses them of being “rude”
Ever outspoken, Azealia Banks has hit out at Disclosure in a new interview, following recent rumours of the two acts collaborating together.
Banks had initially hinted on Twitter earlier this year that she was working in the studio with the UK production duo, causing Disclosure to distance themselves from such claims.
“I think she’s kind of taken to Twitter quite heavily with the fact that she’s meeting with us People now think that we’ve made the greatest song of all time, and it doesn’t even actually have a chorus yet,” the duo said in a recent interview.
Seems like Banks took this quite disrespectfully, telling the AU Review that she “did something with Disclosure but they were, like, really rude in an interview, so I canned it.”
The Harlem rapper added: “To be honest, I’ve got better stuff on my record… It can be an F-side, a fuck-you side.”
Azealia Banks’ debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste has yet to be given a firm release date.
