Australia's Matt Corby returns, announces debut LP, new U.K. tour, and new single "Monday"
Australian singer/songwriter Matt Corby has announced his debut record, and shared its first single "Monday".
He's also detailed a few new dates in the U.K. next month. Tickets for Corby's upcoming shows will go on sale 7 October.
Speaking about his debut album's lengthy incubation period, Corby says: “I recorded an album two years ago that I didn’t like. For a lot of reasons I wouldn’t release it. It took me a year and a half to clear my head of everything that happened, accept my failures, reboot and have the balls to do it again.”
Corby's debut LP is expected in early 2016. It'll arrive quite some time after he bounded into our lives with the likes of "Brother" and "Made Of Stone".
Stream "Monday" below, and then check out Corby's upcoming November shows afterwards.
