Austra to release remix album

With their incredible debut album Feel It Break seeing its way safely onto the Polaris Music Prize’s shortlist yesterday, Austra have revealed they will be releasing a new record entitled Sparkle. A collection of remixes, the record will include reworked tracks from the likes of Young Galaxy and Planningtorock and will be available digitally via Paper Bag Records on 26 July and on 12” vinyl later on 23 August.

The opening sparse, pulsating ‘Nighttime Remix’ of Feel It Break track ‘Spellwork’ comes courtesy of MNDR and you can download it for free below before perhaps being tempted to pre-order Sparkle here.
