Following the release of their incredible debut single ‘Beat And The Pulse’, Austra have revealed the brand new video for ‘Lose It,’ due out 9 May. The second single to be taken from their forthcoming album Feel It Break, ‘Lose It’ is a perfect slice of pure, unadulterated pop that sees Katie Stelmanis’ powerful, classically trained voice lead an irresistibly infectious refrain over pulsating synths and a rich, layered soundscape. Directed by M Blash, the video is a weird and wonderful concoction of fantastical imagery that almost seems to posit the band in a dolls house, looking out.
The brainchild of Canadian born Stelmanis, Austra’s debut full length is duo out on 16 May and is already shaping up to be one of the year’s most exciting releases. You can check out the band live on the following dates.
