Austin City Limits have announced that this year's festival will no longer be going ahead.
This year's Austin City Limits festival was due to take place across two weekends in October at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.
Organisers have released a statement this afternoon (1 July) revealing that the 2020 will no longer be taking place due to "the uncertainty surrounding the current situation in Texas." The statement adds, "The health and safety of our fans, artists, partners, staff and the entire Austin community remains our highest priority."
The statement confirms that the 20th anniversary celebrations will return to Zilker Park next year for two weekends - 1-3 and 9-10 October 2021.
Full refunds are available to those who bought tickets directly from the ACL site, and organisers have encouraged those that already have tickets for the 2020 event to hold onto them until next year.
