AURORA announces debut EP Running With The Wolves
Norwegian electro pop singer AURORA has announced her debut EP Running With The Wolves will be released 4 May.
The EP will be proceeded by the single of the same name which features a "rousing chorus, swelling with layered synths and tribal beats". Running With The Wolves also includes previous single "Runaway", which we heralded as a "crystalline electronic beauty".
Explaining the thought process behind the "Running With The Wolves" single, eighteen-year-old Aksnes says that:
"The song is about having the animal instinct inside you come to life.. Making you forget about your human self and all things we humans keep around us in the modern society. I think humans need to let go a bit more, shake their bodies more often, like the animals do... it's a beautiful thing really"
AURORA returns to the UK to play Brighton’s The Great Escape festival on 15 May, before headlining her own show at London’s Ace Hotel on 11 June.
