"Cry" was originally due to land on 3 June, but Ashnikko delayed the single release due to the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests.
Ashnikko's new outing marks her first collaboration with Grimes, and is her first release since March's "Tantrum".
Speaking about the new track, Ashnikko says, "I have wanted to work with Grimes for 100 million years and now it's happening…a dream! She is singing with me on an angry ass song about my ex-best friend sleeping with my boyfriend…sublime!!!"
Grimes adds, "Ashnikko rules and the song is great!"
Ashnikko's "Cry" single featuring Grimes is out now on Parlophone Records.
