
Ásgeir curates straight to vinyl sessions in his Reykjavík studio for live audience during Airwaves
Artists including Slow Club’s Charles Watson, Hilang Child and JFDR will record an exclusive session straight to vinyl at Ásgeir's studio during this year's Iceland Airwaves
Curating a series of live recording day shows, Ásgeir has invited a select number of acts, Icelandic and international, to record sessions cut live to vinyl which will be given away exclusively to a handful of Airwaves ticket holders
Today (7 November) at 4pm, Axel Flóvent will take part, followed by Júníus Meyvant at 6pm; tomorrow will see JFDR (4pm) and aYia (6pm); on Friday you can catch Charles Watson (4pm) and Hilang Child (6pm); and on Saturday it's Bríet (2pm) and Between Mountains (6pm). Iceland Airwaves wristband + RSVP are essential for entry to the event.
Ásgeir will also play his unheard forthcoming new record in its entirety, excluively at the festival at Fríkirkjan on Nov 9 & 10 (9pm-10pm).
