Ásgeir announces fourth album with new single "Snowblind"
Iceland’s Ásgeir is back with news of his fourth album Time On My Hands, and has released new single "Snowblind" to accompany the announcement.
"Snowblind" is Ásgeir's first outing of 2022, following last year's "Öldurótið" single, which is the Icelandic version of last year's EP title-track "The Sky Is Painted Gray Today", and is accompanied by a Erlendur Sveinsson-directed video.
Time On My Hands will follow 2020's Bury The Moon album, and was recorded in Studio Hljóðrit. He worked with producer Guðmundur Kristinn Jónsson, and plays the majority of instruments himself, but was joined by drummers Nils Törnqvist and Kristinn Snær Agnarson, the brass trio Samúel Jón Samúelsson, Kjartan Hákonarson and Óskar Guðjónsson as well as Pétur Ben.
