A$AP Rocky jokes that the "IKEA furniture was nice" in Swedish jail
A$AP Rocky has spoken about his time in a Swedish jail back in 2019, joking that the "IKEA furniture was nice".
Back in summer 2019, A$AP Rocky was charged with assault after an altercation took place in Stockholm, and was detained in a Swedish jail before returning to the US a month later.
During a new interview with Desus & Mero, A$AP Rocky spoke about his time in Sweden, and even joked about the experience by referencing IKEA.
A$AP Rocky said, "It was a little scary because I wasn’t familiar with that country. Then, their rules is different. No bail system, none of that stuff. That shit was trash."
The rapper added, "For what it’s worth, though, the IKEA furniture was nice in there."
He also spoke about working on new music, saying, "I kinda been in the zone. Just, like, trying to isolate from everything, to try and stay focused and try not to be too influenced by everything but still keep my eye on what’s going on and stuff. I have just been low-key."
Back in May A$AP Rocky spoke about his follow-up to 2018's TESTING album, which is called All Smiles, revealing that Morrissey had been "writing, producing, and contributing vocals" to the album.
