A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown & more to form rap supergroup?
For most, the word “supergroup” is enough to produce many a spine shiver. But seeing as most modern rap albums are spliced with an array of featured stars and guest slots, something akin to this not only feels natural but perhaps even inevitable. And now it’s surfacing that A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown and more might be forming a new hip-hop collective.
According to XXL, the pair are set to team up on an entire full-length with ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. Q recently told the mag of said intentions, quoted as saying: “I want to work with both . I want to do a project with Soul and I want to do one with Rocky. Maybe we can even put our own little group together – me, Ab-Soul, Danny Brown and Rocky.”
Q is scheduled to drop his new solo album Oxymoron later this year.
