Polly Mackey, aka Art School Girlfriend, delivers tranquil tones on new single "Come Back To Me".
Ahead of playing Best Fit's official showcase at SXSW this weekend, Mackey has shared her first new single of the year.
"Come Back To Me", she reveals, is "quite transparently about lust and being out of control of your own desire. It’s about wanting someone to come to you and how that yearning can be simultaneously enjoyable and torturous."
Mackey's new release follows on from her 2018 debut EP Into The Blue Hour.
The producer and singer/songwriter told us about taking ownership of her craft ahead of her show in Texas this week.
"Come Back To Me" is out now. Art School Girlfriend plays Best Fit's SXSW showcase on 16 March, and will perform at London's Omeara on 10 April. Find out more.
