Art rock meets hip-hop on new Husky Loops jam "Fading Out"
Angular art-rock threesome Husky Loops are sharing "Fading Out", a wonky jolt of textures and rhythms from their impending second EP.
"Fading Out" joins up with lead single "Girl Who Wants To Travel The World" to preview the band's short-player, which follows their self-titled debut EP, released earlier this year.
"'Fading Out' is about leaving home," explains vocalist Danio Forni. "It’s open to interpretation, like most of our lyrics, but the song was inspired by both break ups and Mediterranean migrants. Musically it was really influenced by hip-hop, I was listening to a lot of Pusha T and Jeru the Damaja and it’s all about rhythm."
Husky Loops tour with Placebo, Tigercub, and Superfood in the UK this month, with headline shows across the UK and Europe from November. Find out more.
