Art Feynman delivers a slice of blissful optimism in "Feeling Good About Feeling Good"
Austin local Art Feynman shares afrobeat-tinged single "Feeling Good About Feeling Good" ahead of the release of his debut record Blast Off The Wicker.
The smooth, dulcet sounds of the Feynman are frankly impossible to pinpoint. His blatant defiance of genre, combined with the meandering confusion of his acid psych, clav-infused slink pop, means Feynman is treading a thin line between mad genius and depraved lunatic.
The perpetual fuzz and sun drenched melancholia of "Feeling Good About Feeling Good" was admirably conceived through the archaic medium of the trusty four-track tape recorder, demonstrating Feynman has not only a healthy penchant for musical nostalgia but is also faithfully adhering to the analog laws of krautrock and motorik.
