Ariel Pink's new track "Feels Like Heaven" is a pristine piece of shimmering pop
Ariel Pink captivates on woozy new ode "Feels Like Heaven", the latest track to be shared from upcoming record Dedicated To Bobby Jameson.
"Feels Like Heaven" follows "Time To Live" and "Another Weekend" to preview the Pink's first LP since 2014's pom pom. It's a windswept dream-pop jewel with whistly Spaghetti Western chirrups and foamy Cure-isms - a perfect remedy for that ever-growing sinking realisation that summer's on the way out.
Pink has hardly been silent since the release of his last LP - far from it. Earlier this year he teamed with Weyes Blood for an EP; last year he joined up with clothing company Skim Milk and Kanye West collaborator Theophilus London; in 2015 he appeared on the Miley Cyrus x Flaming Lips record and on a track by Mild High Club.
