Arctic Monkeys play "Potion Approaching" for first time in 11 years at Istanbul show
Arctic Monkeys played their first live show since 2019 in Instanbul last night (9 August), and performed "Potion Approaching" for the first time in 11 years.
Arctic Monkeys haven't released new music since 2018, and last night (9 August) fans were expeccting the band to play new music at their first live show in over three years at Istanbul's Zorlu PSM, but Arctic Monkeys decided to stick to a career-spanning setlist, opening with "Do I Wanna Know?" and ending on "R U Mine?".
As well as performing hits such as "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor", "505" and "Crying Lightning", Arctic Monkeys played "Potion Approaching" for the first time since 2011. Watch a fan video below.
In May Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders revealed their upcoming new album "kind of picks up where the other one left off, musically."
Their next album will follow 2018's Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
