Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner to feature on new Queens of the Stone Age album
With Queens of the Stone Age announcing a new album over the weekend, more and more details keep emerging regarding the array of guest spots taking place on the record. We already know that Elton John, Trent Reznor and Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears will feature on the release, and now it’s been revealed that Arctic Monkeys’ frontman Alex Turner will too.
Like Clockwork will be released in June via Matador, reuniting the “classic” Songs For The Deaf-era line-up of Dave Grohl, Nick Oliveri, Mark Lanegan and defacto leader Josh Homme.
Now it’s been confirmed that, along with the core group of Troy Van Leeuwen, Dean Fertita and Michael Shuman, the likes of UNKLE’s James Lavelle and former The Mars Volta member Jon Theodore will also appear.
While you wait to hear the entire thing, listen to clips from the record over on the QOTSA website.
