Arcade Fire set to open restaurant in Canada called Agrikol
Win Butler and Régine Chassagne of Arcade Fire are entering the food industry and opening a restaurant called Agrikol.
The restaurant, a joint venture with Roland Jean and Jen Agg (of The Black Hoof and the Rhum Corner), will be in Montréal, and serve Haitian cuisine. Speaking to local newspaper The Globe and Mail, Butler said: "The idea is that it’s a cultural space. The thing that we were really impressed with at Rhum Corner is that it’s this space for Haitian and Caribbean culture and it’s really cool and contemporary."
Details are still scant, but with the names currently attached, it seems something worth keeping an eye on.
Arcade Fire released their most recent LP, Reflektor, in 2013.
