The nominations for the 2014 Academy Awards were unveiled this morning (16 January) with some familiar names in the music categories.
Among those shortlisted for Oscars are the likes of Arcade Fire for their Owen Pallett-assisted score for Spike Jonze film Her and Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O for “The Moon Song” from the same movie.
Pharrell Williams is also up for “Best Original Song” for “Happy” from Despicable Me 2.
