This past weekend saw Arcade Fire performing two back-to-back shows at London’s Earls Court, taking the opportunity to offer some special renditions for fans.
The Friday night show (6 June) saw Win Butler and co invite Echo and The Bunnymen’s Ian McCulloch on stage for a cover of his band’s track “The Cutter”, while the Saturday show included a live take on The Smiths’ “London”. Sadly however, Lorde (who opened for the group) didn’t perform with the band.
