Organiser John Giddings says: “I’m so happy to have secured Arcade Fire as our first headliner. David Bowie recommended them and I’ve been a fan ever since. Last year was an incredible year and I’m ready for us to come back even better in 2017.”
In recent weeks Arcade Fire have been debuting new material and recording crowd chants for their upcoming fifth studio LP. There aren't many details about the follow up to 2013's Reflektor, but could we have it by the time their Isle Of Wight slot rolls around?
Arcade Fire are the only band confirmed for Isle Of Wight Festival 2017 so far. This year's edition saw the likes of The Who, Queen, Everything Everything, Blossoms, The Cribs, Jess Glynne, and Iggy Pop perform.
