Arcade Fire announce new festival dates in UK and Europe
Arcade Fire have announced a new run of festivals in the UK and Europe, including their first-ever Northern Irish show.
The Canadian collective are set to play at Belfast's Belsonic in Ormeau Park on 13 June and the Manchester International Festival on 6 July at the Castefield Bowl - their first performance in the city in six years. Tickets go on sale for the latter on 17 February at 9am.
Arcade Fire, who recently revealed a political collaboration with Mavis Staples, have also confirmed shows in Dubline, Cologne, and Berlin. They are already set to headline Primavera in Spain, Roskilde in Denmark, plus big-name fests in Belgium, Croatia, Austria, France, and the Netherlands
Until these announcements it was believed that the band's Isle Of Wight Festival headline spot would be their only UK festival of 2017 - although clearly that's no longer the case.
