Arca previews KiCk i album with new track "Mequetrefe"
Arca has shared her new single "Mequetrefe", the third preview of her upcoming LP KiCk i.
"Mequetrefe" lands after last month's "Time" single and April's lead outing "Nonbinary".
Arca says of her new song, "The song "Mequetrefe" invokes the tenderness behind expressing who you are without shame, and the confidence and bravery it requires, because expression of gendernonconforming self-states in a public space can often result in static within your environment."
KiCk i will see Arca, aka Alejandra Ghersi, duet with Rosalía, and includes vocal contributions from Björk, Shygirl and SOPHIE.
The forthcoming LP will be Arca's first in three years, after her self-titled 2017 album.
