Arca has produced Björk's next album
Following hot on the trail of his new video, Arca (AKA Alejandro Ghersi) has revealed he is the co-producer of Björk's forthcoming record.
Details are currently scant, but you can read his FADER cover feature here. The quote in full reads:
"Ghersi has completed work as the co-producer of another very anticipated pop album: a new full-length from Björk, whose phantasmagoric, synth-pop power ballads from the early ’00s now feel eerily prescient of Ghersi’s rubbery approach to sonics."
FACT have also pointed out that:
"[She] went to watch PC Music artists GFOTY and Danny L. Harle in London last week – she’s clearly keeping her eyes open for new producers."
Bjork's Biophilia has also recently been announced for the Ja Ja Ja Festival 2014.
While you're reeling from all that news, chill out with the video for "Hyperballad".
Arca's debut, Xen, is due out 3 November on Mute. Björk's next album is untitled and is yet to receive a release date.
