Arab Strap add second Glasgow show to anniversary dates, share "The First Big Weekend Of 2016" video
Recently reunited duo Arab Strap have added a second show at Glasgow's Barrowlands to their anniversary celebrations.
Malcolm Middleton and Aidan Moffat have also revealed their video for "The First Big Weekend Of 2016", a remix of their similarly named debut single courtesy of Scottish producer Miaoux Miaoux.
"To be honest, I thought we'd do alright in Glasgow," says Moffat of the 20th anniversary shows. "But we were all shocked at just how quickly the tickets went. And we've got nothing else planned, so we thought we'd better make sure everyone who wants to see us gets a chance."
Arab Strap will now play the Barrowlands Ballrom on 16 October, with tickets on sale from 5pm today (1 July). There are still tickets for their Manchester O2 Ritz date on 14 October as well, but the London gig is sold out.
Forest Of Black have edited the video, which is made up of archive footage from throughout the band's "10 years of tears".
