Apple to introduce animated album covers on Apple Music
Apple Music has introduced animated album covers to the beta versions of iOS 14.3 and macOS Big Sur 11.1.
With the public release of iOS 14.3 just days away, Apple Music have started teasing the introduction of animated album artwork for music releases on the beta versions of the new update.
Apple Insider notes that animated cover art for playlists were introduced with the iOS 14 update, but the iOS 14.3 update (currently in beta) appears to feature animated artwork for album releases.
9to5Mac have confirmed that there's already animated artwork for Pearl Jam's Gigaton and Big Sean's Detroit 2 albums for those running iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, or macOS Big Sur 11.1 on their Apple devices.
