Following Apple’s £3 billion acquisition of Beats it looks like the company are set to put the purchase to good use, with the company rumoured to be phasing out the standard headphone jack.
Well, we say “good” - good business for Apple, as a switch to their lightning port connection will mean you’ll have to buy Apple headphones to use with your Apple devices. It’s not all bad news however, the new system will offer better lossless sound quality, but it’ll come at a hefty cost.
