Apple‘s long-expected music-streaming service has been further delayed as they lobby labels for cheaper royalties.
According to the New York Post, the tech giants are set to launch what is being called the ‘iStream’, but are pushing the due date back while trying to get super low royalty costs.
Following rival Spotify’s aim to reduce their own royalty payments, Apple are said to want to pay six cents per 100 streams.
Spotify, on the other hand, currently pay musicians just $0.004 for every play.
