Apparently Jay-Z and Kanye West have settled their TIDAL dispute
Jay-Z and Kanye West are apparently back on friendly terms after reportedly sorting out their TIDAL dispute.
The two rappers have had a lot of disagreements over the past four years, but it seems as though the pair have finally broken through the ice and are beginning to rebuild their friendship.
TMZ reports that Kanye West and Jay-Z have finally sorted out their dispute over TIDAL - Jay-Z's music streaming service.
According to the site, sources connected to both rappers have said they quietly resolved the issue earlier this year, and are both satisfied with the outcome.
Their dispute over the streaming service started back in 2017, when the JESUS IS KING rapper broke away from TIDAL, and claimed that Jay-Z owed him $3.5million. Jay-Z refused to pay it at the time, stating that ye owed him "content".
According to Genius, Kanye West streamed his debut opera, Nebuchadnezzar, through TIDAL last month, and apparently there's plans in the future for Kanye West to release more content exclusively through TIDAL.
