Aphex Twin’s long-lost 1994 album Caustic Window recently raised $67,424 on Kickstarter by fans wanting to receive a digital copy. Now, the original test pressing has been sold on Ebay, fetching a whopping $46,300.
The Caustic Window saga first emerged in April, when the album found its way onto internet marketplace Discogs, with Richard D. James himself striking a deal with the sellers to release it democratically to fans instead. With the record now released, you can stream Caustic Window in full here.
Meanwhile, two more unreleased Aphex Twin test pressings have hit Ebay also.
