Anne-Marie takes aim at Theresa May and Donald Trump on new song
"Rockabye" singer Anne-Marie has shared a new two-minute song titled "Dear Mrs. Prime Minister".
Anne-Marie has shared the politically charged, piano-led track on Twitter - it's a rough take, performed in a bedroom of some kind (are those bunkbeds in the corner?!).
The pop artist doesn't beat around the bush on the track, opening with the line: "Dear Mrs Prime Minister / we’re not one bit similar / so how’re you supposed to know a thing about us?”
“I don’t believe a word you say,” adds Anne-Marie before turning her sights on US President Donald Trump. "And as for Mr. President / It’s like World War III / and he don’t give a fuck...”
Check it out below.
This is called.
