Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, and Rag 'n' Bone Man for BRITs Critics' Choice shortlist
This year's BRIT Awards Critics' Choice shortlist has arrived, with some massive voices making the cut.
Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, and Rag 'n' Bone Man are all on the three-act list - the winner is revealed on 8 December.
Anne-Marie says of the nomination: "I actually can't believe I am nominated for this amazing award. This is so sick. To everyone who voted for me I am so grateful and humbled, here's to 2017!"
Dua Lipa adds: "I couldn't believe it when I got the news. So honoured and grateful to be nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award. This is the highlight of my year. I've said so many times, that I've hit a lot of milestones this year from performing at Glastonbury, to doing my own European tour, never doing the same thing two days in a row and going to places I've never been before. Truly living my dream, this is the icing on the cake. A huge dream of mine! Thank you for all the love and support from the bottom of my heart this means the world to me! Thank you."
Rag’n’Bone Man concludes: "It's bonkers that I've been nominated for Critics’ Choice. Absolutely bonkers, I’ve been grafting, I built a strong fan base over the years with help from good people that put their faith in me. And now this! I'm very grateful.”
Over 100 artists were "considered" for the shortlist, with the final three chosen by a range of influential industry figures. Artists set to release their debut in 2017 and signed to a label are able to be nominated.
