Angel Olsen details new LP MY WOMAN, reveals lead single "Intern"
Angel Olsen has announced her new record MY WOMAN and shared the first full taste, "Intern".
On MY WOMAN, Olsen worked with Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira) and recorded live to tape at LA’s Vox Studios.
Speaking about the record, Olsen says it's about "the complicated mess of being a woman."
She adds: “I’m definitely using scenes that I’ve replayed in my head, in the same way that I might write a script and manipulate a memory to get it to fit. But I think it’s important that people can interpret things the way that they want to.”
MY WOMAN is out via Jagjaguwar on 2 September. It follows 2014's Burn Your Fire For No Witness.
