Amongst the chaos, a hero rises: Harry Styles goes solo
After countless rumours, Britain at last has the answer to one of the most life-changing questions its faced in recent memory: is Harry Styles going solo?
According to reports from Billboard, yes he is - he's inked a deal with Columbia Records (not coincidentally the home of One Direction). Sources claim that the terms aren't yet public, and a timeline for any release hasn't been finalised.
Late in 2015, Styles stoked the flames of anticipation by registering a handful of solo cuts with ASCAP, seemingly paving the way for a Zayn vs. Styles showdown. That may still materialise in the future, but as yet Styles' music hasn't hit our ears.
In other Styles-related news, the One Direction heartthrob might end up playing Mick Jagger in a new Rolling Stones biopic.
